Hi planet claire, a few months back I kept getting googled for, 'all in all it had been a weird, weird lottery'. I bounced back to see what other sites had it and yours was the only one. And then a week or two later, I heard that b-52s song on the radio, which is kinda odd because they don't usually play stuff like that. So that's how I found out why your site is called what it's called.

re: your planetclaire.*.* war - I went to go look at that other site, and just wanted you to know that you win, hands down. (Clicked you-google a few extra times, just because.) I use an older computer, and have serious backwards-compatability issues. Short story: your site rawks! and hers do not (not that I could tell, 'cause I couldn't really get past anything other than her splash page). Oh yeah, and you have a snippet from the Bloom County movie. That's why you rawk! the most. ~Matt

Oh my gosh, the Homecoming is totally my favorite episode too! It was so scary because when I got the CD, I recognized it by what was happening from the O.C. I was like, this is when Ryan is saying his final good-bye to Trey and when Seth was lying on his floor with Captain Oats. I think that it's scary that I know the O.C. that well. But who cares.

Hi, I am a long time reader first time poster. Reading your thoughts on Bush made me wanna post because I believe everything you say. I think it's sad that our country is gonna go down the toilet, and everyone is putting their hand on the thing that flushes it.

I enjoy your web site. The navigation is nicely enigmatic. Browsing through your FLW stuff made me think you might be interested in a site I worked on a while back. It's called "Unified Vision: The Architecture and Design of the Prairie School". By the way, I think we went to high school together...

Oh, you rock ... thanks for all the awesome MP3 postings! And since you mentioned Mark Eitzel in the Rant ... I'm also a big fan of his/American Music Club. I urge one and all to check out "Love Songs for Patriots"; the first three songs are amazing.

Okay, I've been coming here and reading your Rants for long enough that I guess I really should step up to the plate and sign the guest book. Love Uncle Tupelo and all things connected (Jay/Son Volt, Jeff/Wilco) as well as Tim Easton (it was a search for Easton lyrics that got me here). I abhor most of what's on television (although must admit I have chuckled quite a bit to Queer Eye), but I live and breathe music, so we do have something in common. And, hey, I do love your Rants. Cheers from the Northwest!

Dang it. I just hit reset and erased everything. It happens. Anyways, I wish someone, anyone, was best friends with Josh Schwartz so that they could tell him he's a moron for making us wait a half a year to see the next episode. -growls- Oh well, because now, there's only 27 days left!

Annabelle, I have no other way of contacting you except through this guestbook, but thank you loads for reading my site. Sorry to post this here. The planet claire reference is most likely unrelated to me, but it involves The Vegas episode and my overblown ego. If you want the story, email me or check my rant page. I typed it up the other day. As far as the top 3: not my top 3. I'll have to think on my top 3.

But any OC is good. Please keep reading, please keep enjoying. And thanks for visiting.

Keep the quotes! I love your site. I didn't happen to catch the mention of planet claire on the O.C., but I definitely caught the part about people posting their favorite quotes. By the way, did you find that any of those three "Fan Favorites" were a favorite of yours?

Ahh yes, someone else who appreciates the lyrical genious who is Jay Farrar. Nice listening to your mp3's from the Rants page of Jay and Jeff. Hah! And now I see you mention "Question" from Old 97's! Funny story, my Fiancé calls me yesterday and says she heard this awesome song she wanted me to use in our slideshow we are putting together for our wedding. A song about "someday someone's gonna ask you a question", she said. Well, I happen to have the CD and am now a bigger hero to her than before! Great site appreciated by this gun-toting, yoga practicing, ballet-loving, redneck Texan.

Just thought that I would either remind you or let you know about the O.C. specials on the next two Thursdays at 8 on Fox. This one coming up is on September 16th and is titled The O.C.: Obsess Completely. I know I'll be parked in front of my television.

I know a lot of useless crap as a Frank Lloyd Wright fanatic. I just thought you should know that a couple of pictures are wrong, like the Winslow house and the Wainwright building is in St. Louis, not Chicago.

Hello : ) A friend of mine said he read my name here. It was actually attached to nice words for once, so I thought I'd stop by. #1) Yes, it's my voice doing narration of the new Likehell 'documentary'. I recently saw the complete film, frickin' hilarious. There will be a Twin Cities screening soon. #2) Thanks for saying nice things about me. It made my day. That's it, Brian Oake Cities97 (KTCZ)

Why hello there! Nicely played with site! Much fun to be had by one and all. Continue playing with it. You could become a cyberculture icon - and then I could write a paper about you ... and publish it ... and talk about how cool the site is ... and then print the paper as a chapter in my Diss ... and that would be cool! Cheers! Adam.

LOVE the Queer Eye quotes!!! Good to know I am not the only fan around. Being in Montana, the Queer Eye guys make the sheep nervous so I don't admit I'm a fan. :) Claire rules!

Hi! Yup I really do like your site. The planets are cool, and there's always something new to read! I don't feel so hot today, I can't believe I'm at work. No one else is here, where are they? (It's not Saturday today is it?) Don't make fun of my random site, the guy is quite serious and I like to practice my reading there.
