FAQ
frequently asked questions and the answers who love them
Got a question? I have answers. Some of which you might find here:
Q. "Why does it take so long for some episodes or shows to get updated?"
A. So many reasons. Several of which are valid. The main one being that I work. A lot. So this site gets updated a bit randomly.
Q. "My favorite show is missing. Why do you only have a few?"
A. Apart from the fact that it's a lot of work to include dozens of shows, I have to really like any show I add to the site. And not just the show, but the writing in particular.
Q. "My favorite quote is missing. Would you mind adding it?"
A. First, make sure it's actually missing. Many quotes only appear on a certain character's page or even just on the main page. If you do a quick search it might just show up.
Q. "My favorite quote is definitely still missing. Would you mind adding it?"
A. Not at all. If you have a quote you'd like added I can certainly include it. But I don't often go back to find quotes. So your best chance is to have a version of the quote you want added. There are however exceptions.
Q. "What are the exceptions?"
A. If you have a request for a quote from a recently aired episode (or just a quote that you really really like and can’t live without), let me know via Facebook.
Q. "My favorite character doesn't have a page. Why not?"
A. Because there are some characters I find so annoying and/or pointless that I refuse to add them out of general principle (see: Humphrey, Jenny). On the other hand, some characters eventually show up if I'm pressured and/or feel guilty enough. Or if they wind up dead (see: Cooper, Marissa).
Q. "You have a lot of quotes, but not from the entire episodes. Could you start adding those in?"
A. Nope. I don't transcribe the episodes and I don't want to start anytime soon. This is work enough as is.
Q. "You have a lot of quotes that are wrong. So your site sucks."
A. It's not a question per se, but I've heard it before. I won't quibble with that assertion, but I will tell you to bite me.
